Smiley’s, Level 4 or ROI:  Designing metrics that work for the CLO and CEO

This month’s presentation will focus on evaluating training interventions and creating metrics that really work, both for learning professionals and business leaders. Have you ever struggled understanding how to measure a training intervention? Have you ever wondered how to demonstrate the effect of training on business metrics? These are common challenges, with uncommon answers. For our November event, we will review leading thought on these topics and then engage in a hand’s on application activity to apply concepts to help develop a training scorecard and associated business scorecard unique to the needs of each participant. Each participant will walk away with two new tools and an understanding of a unique process that simplifies the evaluation steps and connects training metrics consistently to business metrics. Please come prepared with at least one evaluation challenge that you have faced, or are facing, and be ready to dig in and engage with other learning professionals to design an effective evaluation solution to your particular evaluation challenge.
